Cineworld Group plc announces that, following the sale by Blackstone of its shareholding in the Company, Alan Roux, one of the two Blackstone Board nominees, is stepping down and will cease to be a director with immediate effect. The Board would like to thank him for his significant support and contribution over the past two years.

The Company is delighted that Matthew Tooth, who was previously the second Blackstone Board nominee, has agreed to continue in his role as a Non-Executive Director of the Company in an independent capacity.
