Whitbread PLC announces the appointment of Jonathan Howell as an independent non-executive director at Centrica plc, with effect from 12 May 2026. Jonathan will also be appointed as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Nominations Committee, with effect from 31 July 2026. 

There are no further disclosures required for the purposes of UKLR 6.4.9R.
