Dublin, London, 19 December 2017: Pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority, Smurfit Kappa Group plc notifies the following in relation to Ms. Fairweather who is appointed a Director of the Company effective from 1 January 2018:-

(a) Ms. Fairweather was director of Burberry Group plc from July 2013 to January 2017.

(b) There are no details requiring disclosure for Ms. Fairweather under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6).
