The Group has been notified that on 1 May 2013 Alan Quilter, Group Chief Operating Officer, bought 200,000 ordinary shares in the Group at a price of 135.5 pence per share.

Following this transaction Mr Quilter holds 4,246,456 ordinary shares, which represents 8.55% per cent of the Group's issued share capital (excluding shares held by the Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT") which has waived its voting rights). The Group has been informed by Mr Quilter that following the settlement of the transaction, it is his intention to gift the shares to his four adult children in due course.

·; acquires and manages a portfolio of insurance receivables, with a carrying cost of c.£6.5m as at 31 December 2012.
