The Company was informed yesterday that Professor David Begg, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased yesterday 14,000 Ordinary shares of 3 and 1/33 pence each at an average price of 314.8p per share, representing approximately 0.014% of the Company's total issued voting share capital.

Including this purchase, Professor Begg's total holding in the Company's issued share capital is 15,904 shares (representing approximately 0.016% of the Company's total issued voting share capital).
