TPG Managed Solutions to work with Army HQ

TP Group (AIM: TPG), the specialist technology, engineering and managed solutions group, announces that the Group's Managed Solutions division has won a contract with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to provide independent technical support to the Army HQ on the Land Environment Tactical Communications and Information Systems (LE TacCIS) programme.

TPG will initially supply four specialists to provide client side support by bringing expert skills in disciplines such as Systems Engineering, Project and Programme Management and Business Analysis that are not available within the Army's own resources.

The activity supports a £3.2bn MoD programme to provide information superiority to UK Commanders in the Land Environment through better information exploitation between headquarters and individual troops.

TP Group's Managed Solutions business was set up in 2015 to focus on providing specialist services to highly complex projects. The initial focus was on naval projects, building upon the Company's extensive history and relationships in submarine atmosphere management systems. This contract demonstrates the team's ability to move outside that initial scope and provide valued support to other parts of the defence establishment. Growing its scope in this way also adds to the breadth of experience and value that the business can offer its customers and partners.
