Screen PLC28 January 2005 Screen plc ("the Company") Completion of Placing The directors of Company are pleased to confirm that the conditional placing ofup to 557,000,000 new ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 1p per share("New Ordinary Shares") announced on 16 December 2004 became unconditional thismorning with the admission of 557,000,000 New Ordinary Shares to AIM. The netproceeds of the placing amount to approximately £5.09 million.
