Company Update
Eddie Stobart Logistics plc (the "Company") has been informed that Anoop Kang has resigned from the board of Greenwhitestar Acquisitions Limited (GWSA), a company in which the Company has a 49 per cent indirect holding. Anoop, who became Chief Financial Officer of Eddie Stobart Logistics plc in April 2019, stepped down in December 2019 from the Board of the Company to act as CFO for GWSA. He will leave GWSA in mid-April after a hand over period.
Following completion of the recent transaction with Douglas Bay Capital Fund III LLP (DBAY), GWSA, which indirectly holds 100 per cent of the interests in the trading entities which were formerly subsidiaries of the Company, is now indirectly majority owned by DBAY.
The Board thanks Anoop for his strong contribution to the Company through its recent challenging period.
The Company continues to work to finalise the interims and a further announcement will be made in due course.
