Change of Accounting Reference Date

The Company announces that its accounting reference date has been changed from 31 December to 30 June, with the next audited annual financial statements being for the 18 month period to 30 June 2013.

The decision has been taken in order to harmonise group accounting reference dates and bring the Company's UK subsidiary, Mercury Recycling Limited, in line with its South African subsidiary, which has historically reported to 30 June.

The Company will release, prior to 31 March 2013, second unaudited interim results in respect of the six month period ending 31 December 2012. The next audited accounts, being to 30 June 2013, will be published by 31 October 2013.
