Falkland Oil and Gas Limited11 March 2005 For immediate release Falkland Oil and Gas Limited Board Appointment Falkland Oil and Gas Limited ("FOGL") announces the appointment of RichardLiddell as a non-executive director. Richard Liddell (57) has twenty-five years experience in the oil and gasindustry. Richard was Operations Director of Premier Oil plc from 1999 until2003 and prior to that spent two years as Director of Development at BGExploration and Production. He previously held a number of positions during aneighteen-year spell at Philips Petroleum Company. This appointment is in line with the commitment made by the Board of FOGL at thetime of the flotation to appoint an independent non-executive director.
