Appointment of new auditors

Upland Resources Limited (LSE: UPL), the oil and gas company actively building a portfolio of attractive upstream assets, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Crowe Clarke Whitehill LLP ("CCW") as its auditors and as auditors for its subsidiary companies.

Background

The appointment of CCW arises because of the resignation of Wilkins Kennedy LLP ("WK") as the Company's auditors. WK has resigned purely for normal commercial reasons: specifically, Upland was WK's only main market listed audit client and the regulatory costs associated with this role had become greater than the fees generated by the Upland audit work.
