Thisappointment follows the statement in the Interim Announcement of 18 December2006 that PMI was pursuing strategic options for its three individual businesses- vending, minilab manufacturing and wholesale lab manufacturing. Lazard willadvise PMI on this strategic review and its implementation. Lazard will work alongside JPMorgan Cazenove, PMI's existing financial adviserand joint broker, which is advising PMI on the proposed return of capital toshareholders and the necessary restructuring of the Group.
