LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

JPMORGAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

28TH NOVEMBER 2018

Following the Annual General Meeting of the Company, which was held today, the Board is pleased to announce that all of the ordinary resolutions put to shareholders were passed.

In addition, the following five items of special business were passed which:

i) authorises the sub-division of the Company's existing Ordinary Shares (the "Sub-division").

ii) allows the Company to allot new Ordinary Shares up to an aggregate nominal amount of £199,091, representing approximately 5% of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital at the date of Notice of AGM;

iii) allows the Company to disapply pre-emption rights on allotment of new Ordinary Shares;

iv) allows the Company to make market purchases of up to 11,933,750 Ordinary Shares (following the passing of Resolution 11 pursuant to the Sub-division), representing 14.99% of the Company's issued share capital following the Sub-division; and

v) allows the Company to amend the existing investment objective and investment policy, effective from 1 January 2019.
