Weir Group PLC20 October 2005 The Weir Group Plc -------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for a total of 1,000,000 Ordinary shares of 12.5p each("shares") to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted on 24 October 2005 and thattrading will commence 25 October 2005.
