Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust Limited has exchanged contracts to acquire a purpose build retail warehouse for £5.04m.

The property was built in 2009, and is let to Focus DIY for a further 23 years at an annual rent of £426,303pa. The purchase shows the Company an initial yield of 8%. Completion is expected for Friday 22 January.
