Acquisition of shares by the James Cropper plc Share Incentive Plan

The Company announces that it was notified on 21 August 2014 that on that day the James Cropper plc Share Incentive Plan (the "James Cropper SiP") acquired 1,575 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of 383p per Share. The Shares have been acquired to satisfy future releases to participants in the James Cropper SiP.

Following the transaction, the James Cropper SiP is interested in 114,626 Shares, representing 1.3 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
