BioProjects International PLC25 January 2005 BIOPROJECTS INTERNATIONAL PLC ("the Company") BioProjects International plc announces that it was notified on 24 January 2005that:- • Mr James Slater, a director of the company, has transferred 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company to Artemis Management Services Limited at a price of 2.625p per share. • Mrs Helen Slater has transferred 5,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company to Artemis Management Services Limited at a price of 2.625p per share. • Artemis Management Services Limited has acquired 7,500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at a price of 2.625 per share. Each of the transactions was effected on 24 January 2005. Artemis Management Services Limited is a company controlled by Mr and Mrs Slaterand wholly owned by Mr and Mrs Slater and members of their immediate family. Mr and Mrs Slater's interests in the share capital of the company notifiableunder Sections 198-208 and 324-328 Companies Act 1985 remain unchanged. As a result of the transactions, Artemis Management Services Limited isinterested in aggregate in 10,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Companyrepresenting 3.47% of the issued share capital of the Company. Mr Slater and hisconnected parties hold in aggregate 25,485,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in theCompany, representing approximately 8.84% of the issued share capital of theCompany.
