XCHANGING JOINS FORCES WITH FIRSTCARE TO OFFER ENHANCED ABSENCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Companies form a strategic alliance to offer customers flexibility and competitive prices in HR services
LONDON, 30 November 2009 - Xchanging plc (LSE:XCH), the global business processor and FirstCare, the leading absence management specialist have formed a strategic alliance to offer enhanced absence management services in the HR services market. As organisations look to drive efficiencies and lower operational costs, this alliance will offer customers a suite of competitively priced, individual HR disciplines.
The alliance will provide FirstCare customers access to a vast portfolio of Xchanging's HR solutions that can be offered either as an integrated end-to-end HR service, or as separate 'unbundled' services. Xchanging will add FirstCare's absence management and occupational health pre-employment screening services to its portfolio.
Following the recent acquisition of Active Health Partners, FirstCare's absence management service now covers occupational health and pandemic planning expertise. Between them, FirstCare and Xchanging offer a wide range of HR services including day-one absence management, real-time absence reporting, a full range of occupational health programmes, pre-employment and background screening, pandemic planning, HR data management, recruitment, payroll and remuneration services, talent and succession planning, global mobility, HR advice and administration.
