Announcement to the London Stock Exchange
This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4.
On 7 October 2010, an award over a total of 300,000 ordinary shares in the Company was made to Kenneth Lever, a Director of the Company and a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility. The award was made under LR 9.4.2R(2).
No consideration was paid for the grant of the award. The award is expected to vest in two tranches: 50 per cent on the first anniversary of grant and 50 per cent on the second anniversary of grant, conditional in each case on Kenneth Lever's continued employment with the Company on each anniversary of grant.
The Company was informed of the above transaction on 7 October 2010.
