WATERMAN GROUP PLC INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT
Waterman Group plc ("Waterman" or "the Group"), the international engineering and environmental consultant, today releases its Interim Management Statement for the period from 1st July 2012 to date.
The Group can confirm that its trading performance for the year is in line with the Board's expectations.
The Group generates approximately 70% of its revenue in the UK and demand from London clients remains strong. As anticipated, the UK regions remain challenging and we continue to consolidate our position in the available markets.
Overseas, our larger operations are in Ireland, Russia, Dubai and Australia and the Group is reliant on the strength of these economies to provide increasing opportunities for the provision of consulting engineering services.
Waterman continues to be recognised for its design excellence. The Quadrant 3 (Air 1 offices) project in Regent Street, London, a 40,000 m2 development for The Crown Estate, has recently triumphed once more with an award for "Best Practice" at the British Construction Industry Awards held in October 2012.
