Waterman Group PLC04 May 2005 WATERMAN APPOINTS NEW CHAIRMAN Waterman Group plc ("Waterman"), one of the UK's leading multi disciplinaryengineering and environmental consultancies, announces today the retirement ofWilliam Mathieson from the post of non-executive chairman. The Board has electedRoger Fidgen as Waterman's new non-executive chairman with immediate effect.Roger, aged 58, is a chartered surveyor and was previously senior partner atGardiner & Theobald, a leading international consultancy, and is also a formerpresident of the British Council for Offices. He was appointed as anon-executive director on 1 July 2004.
