Annual General Meeting Statement

Speaking at the company's Annual General Meeting to be held today, Roger Fidgen, Chairman of Waterman Group plc, the international engineering and environmental consultant, will make the following comments in addition to the recent Interim Management Statement dated 19th November 2010:

" The markets in which Waterman Group operate have continued to be very competitive. However, the Group has secured several new commissions recently and it is with great pleasure that I can announce the following new projects spread across the Group's operations:

·; In the UAE, Waterman has been appointed by MAF as lead consultant on the refurbishment of the 318 bed Deira City Centre Hotel in Dubai.

·; Our Environmental Impact Assessment team has been appointed to provide planning advice to Stanhope plc and Schroder Exempt Property Trust on their proposals for Ruskin Square in the London Borough of Croydon. This masterplan will provide over 1.0m sq ft of mixed use development.

·; Waterman Structures were commissioned by Land Securities in September to progress the planning design stage on the 220,000 sq ft commercial development at 1 New Street Square in London.

·; Last week, instructions were received to commence working drawings on the final phase of the Khamovniki development which in total is a 4.7m sq ft mixed use predominantly residential development in Moscow.

" To conclude, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff and shareholders for their contribution during the last financial year and we look forward to giving an update on progress at our half year results in February 2011."
