Commenting on theย contract awardย Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:
"I amย delightedย toย be able to announce this latest contract awardย for Jubaย which underpins our faith inย GOSSย and their determination to rebuild the country after the 21 year civil warย with the Northย as well as showing their belief inย Westminster's ability and professionalism in supporting the reconstruction process duringย aย difficult period.
"I am also pleased that we are able to introduce solar powered street lighting to Juba and I am sure the benefits of no power infrastructure requirements, near zero running costs and environmentally efficient operation will lead to the expansion of this technology to the rest of the Capital in due course.
"The latest Contract award forย Jubaย follows a successful order intake for October and brings our order intake in the year so far to ยฃ7.34million. We have an extremely healthy open quote bank and whilst the current economic climate may be causing some clients to take longer in the decision making process than anticipated,ย which may affect our short term outlook, we are confident of further important new contract wins in the near future."
