UTV PLC28 August 2007 UTV plc ("UTV" or "the Group") POSTING OF DOCUMENTS On 16 August 2007, UTV announced proposals for a corporate reorganisation underwhich a new listed company, UTV Media plc, will be introduced as the ultimateholding company of the Group by way of a scheme of arrangement ("the Scheme")under Article 418 of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986. A circular setting out in full the details of the proposed Scheme andreorganisation, and incorporating a prospectus of UTV Media plc has today beenposted to shareholders. Copies of the circular, which is dated 24 August 2007, are now available free ofcharge at the registered office of UTV, Ormeau Road, Belfast BT7 1EB, and isexpected to be available for viewing on the UTV website (www. utvplc.com)shortly.
