Sale of shares by Stephen Bird
The Vitec Group plc ("the Company") announces that Stephen Bird, Group Chief Executive, has sold 125,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 7 May 2021 at a price of £15.60 per share.
The sale is for personal reasons including a house purchase. Stephen Bird now holds 192,957 ordinary shares in the Company, of which 25,095 shares have been purchased in the market using funds supplied by Stephen Bird and are held by Apex Fund Services, the Trustee used to hold shares in respect of awards made under The Vitec Group 2014 Deferred Bonus Plan. 2,000 ordinary shares of the total holding are also held by a connected person.
The resultant shareholding in the Company equates to a holding representing six times salary based upon the sale price of £15.60 and Stephen Bird's salary of £474,629.
