VTB Bank Supervisory Board appoints Mikhail Oseevskiy as Deputy President and Chairman of Management Board

On July 25, 2012, VTB Bank Supervisory Council appointed Mikhail Oseevskiy as Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank. His appointment will become effective upon approval of his candidacy by the Central Bank of Russia.
Mikhail Oseevskiy has vast experience in the government service and banking industry. As Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank Mikhail Oseevskiy will be responsible for the development of VTB's regional network.
Andrey Kostin, VTB Bank President and Chairman of the Management Board, commented on the appointment: "VTB's regional network development of is one of our key priorities. Mikhail Oseevskiy has extensive professional experience and excellent business skills. I am confident that he will strengthen VTB' management team, and this appointment will serve to the further efficient growth of the Group's franchise".

Mikhail Eduardovich Oseevskiy was born on November 30, 1960. He got a degree at the M. I. Kalinin Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, and holds PhD degree in economics.
In early 2012 Mikhail Oseevskiy was appointed Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia.
From 2003 to 2011 Mikhail Oseevskiy held the position of Vice Governor of Saint-Petersburg, while previously Oseevskiy held various managerial positions with Industry and Construction Bank and Saint Petersburg Currency Exchange.
Mikhail Oseevskiy has been awarded with the Medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland, 2nd degree, and with the Order of Friendship.
