Press Release 15 December 2009 Verona Pharma plc ("Verona" or the "Company") Director's Shareholding
Verona Pharma plc (AIM:VRP.L), the AIM quoted drug discovery company, announces that Magic Bullets Enterprises Ltd ("MBE"), a company controlled by Michael Walker, Chief Executive Officer of Verona, and Clive Page, Chairman of Verona, has on 10 December 2009, acquired 350,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company ("Shares") at an average price of 13.89p per Share.
Following this acquisition, MBE has 350,000 Shares in Verona, representing 0.2 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
Following this acquisition, Mr. Walker, together with his wife, had a total interest of 5,912,768 Shares, representing 2.7 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital; whilst Mr. Page together with his wife, had a total interest of 5,784,621 Shares, representing 2.7 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
