Victoria Oil & Gas Plc (AIM: VOG), the oil and gas company with assets in Cameroon and the Former Soviet Union, announces that Mr Philip Rand, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, was issued 1,500,000 shares of 0.5p each in the capital of the Company by the Victoria Oil & Gas ESOP Trust ("Trust"), which he immediately sold at an average price of 5.088p per share for personal financial reasons.

Following this disposal, Mr Rand remains interested in 1,294,871 shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.06 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
