Share buyback
Vietnam Infrastructure Limited ('VNI', the 'Company')Â announces that on 30 January 2013, pursuant to the share buyback authority granted to the Company's Board of Directors on 27 July 2012 and in accordance with the terms referenced in the share buyback programme update announcement on 25 January 2013, Scepter Asia Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, purchased 2,000,000 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01Â each at an average price of USD0.31Â per share.Â
Following this transaction, VNI has spent USD5.4 million overall repurchasing 17,270,700 shares which are held as treasury shares. The total number of shares acquired represents 4.3 percent of the Company's 402,100,000 Ordinary Shares in issue and as a result, total voting rights in the Company have been reduced to 384,829,300.
