Joint Offer for Subscription of up to 20,000,000 "C" shares of 25 pence each at a Price of 100 pence per Share (the "Offer")
Final Allotments of "C" shares in Ventus VCT plc for 2008-09 Tax Year
The Board of Directors of Ventus VCT plc is pleased to announce that, in accordance with the terms of the Joint Offer for Subscription dated 12 February 2009, 2,448,579 "C" shares of 25 pence in Ventus VCT plc were allotted on 3 April 2009 and 806,826 "C" shares were allotted on 4 April 2009.
Application has been made for the admission of the 3,255,405 "C" shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's market for listed securities. Dealing in the "C" shares is expected to commence on or before 14 April 2009.
The number of shares allotted to date under the Offer by Ventus VCT plc now total 5,455,428 "C" shares. Following this allotment there are now 5,455,428 "C" shares of 25 pence each and 15,000,183 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in issue.
As at 4 April 2009, Ventus VCT plc had also received applications for the allotment of 322,140 "C" shares in the 2009/2010 tax year.
