Vela Technologies Plc ("Vela" or "the Company") Convertible Preference Share Investment in Rosslyn Analytics Limited Placing to raise £115,000 at 1.0p per share 9 October 2013 Vela Technologies plc is pleased to announce a proposed investment of £100,002by way of subscription for 32,716 Convertible "A" Preference Shares in RosslynAnalytics Limited ("Rosslyn Analytics"), being just under 0.7 per cent. RosslynAnalytics' issue share capital. Operating out of London, Rosslyn Analyticsprovides a cloud-based data analysis platform which allows its customers andpartners to use a single cloud platform for analysis and data management,providing a foundation for organisations and their key strategic decisions,potentially stretching resources, adding value and enabling faster exploitationof new technologies . The platform allows data capture and collation from manysources, advanced data cleansing to improve accuracy and relevance, enrichmentby automatic connection of enterprise data with external business sources toprovide enhanced business value and a "360° view" of the enterprise and datavisualisation through user friendly graphical interfaces, report buildingwizards and statistical and predictive modelling tools. The investment is to be funded by a placing of 11,500,000 new Ordinary Sharesof 0.1p each at a price of 1.0 pence per share.
