Vela Technologies plc (AIM: VELA), the investing company focused on early stage and pre-IPO disruptive technology investments, announces that Brent Fitzpatrick (Chairman of Vela) has today notified the Company that he has today purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence in the Company at a price of 0.1499 pence per share. Following this purchase, Mr Fitzpatrick's shareholding in the Company has increased to 2,500,000 ordinary shares, which represents approximately 0.35% of the Company's issued voting share capital.
