Placing and Admission to Official List

Vertu Capital Ltd ("Vertu" or the "Company") announces the successful placing of 80,000,000 new ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the Company (the "Placing") with institutional and other investors and the admission of its entire share capital, being 100,000,000 ordinary shares of £0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares"), to the Official List of the UKLA by way of a standard listing under Chapter 14 of the UKLA's Listing Rules) and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.

Vertu has raised gross proceeds of £800,000 under the Placing.

Vertu has been formed to undertake an acquisition of a target company or business in the financial services sector. The Company's efforts in identifying a prospective target company or business will be focused in the geographic region of Asia and Europe. However, the Company expects to draw on the extensive experience of the Company's Directors in sourcing and successfully executing such transactions.

Admission

It is expected that Admission will become effective and dealings in the Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities will commence at 8.00 a.m. today under the ticker symbol 'VCBC'.
