Universe Group PLC15 May 2007 For immediate release: 15 May 2007 Universe Group PLC ("Universe" or the "Company") Directorate Change Universe, the retail and loyalty systems company, announces that Ray Mackie, aformer executive director of the Company (from 1 January 1999 to 31 December2006) and a non-executive director since 1 January 2007 has resigned from theBoard of the Company with immediate effect. Mr Mackie is taking up an executiverole at The 3rd Man Group Plc, where he has been a non-executive director since1 January 2006.
