Strategic partnership with Serco Occupational Health opens up new market for Ultrasis

Ultrasis plc, a provider of interactive healthcare and related services, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Serco Occupational Health, one of the UK's largest providers of occupational health services.

Serco Occupational Health will use Ultrasis' award winning GetFit Health Manager programme as an integral part of its corporate wellbeing service for all customers. The agreement will also enable the provision of telephone supported Beating the Blues through BMI Healthcare to Serco's customers.

Serco Occupational Health, a subsidiary of Serco Group plc the global service and outsourcing company, currently supports over 450,000 employees helping to prevent workforce ill health and manage absence.

Commenting on the partnership, Simon Dickinson Managing Director of Serco Occupational Health, said:

"GetFit Health Manager's proven track record of changing employees' behaviour towards healthier living, combined with its comprehensive reporting capabilities that demonstrate its effectiveness, makes it an exciting addition to our corporate wellbeing service and one that is already being well received by our clients.

"An early contract win for the partnership will see both GetFit Health Manager and BMI Beating the Blues made available to 1200 employees of a high street insurance company to support their 'Improving Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace' initiative. This contract has an initial value of £20,000."
