Ultrasis PLC26 February 2008 Press release 26th February 2008 Ultrasis plc AGM and proposed appointment of non-executive Director At Ultrasis' AGM today all resolutions were duly passed and Nigel Brabbins,Chief Executive, made the following update on current trading: "Trading remains in line with management expectations and I am pleased to saythat we continue to have a strong and developing sales pipeline, especiallywithin the NHS. We continue to grow our customer base and typically customersare signing two and three year contracts, whilst renewal rates remain high. "I am also pleased to announce our intention to appoint Anthony Knight asnon-executive Director at Ultrasis. Anthony has over 30 years of experience ofthe pharmaceutical industry and he has held senior positions in marketing,sales, commercial management, training, business development, businessinformation, general management and as a non-executive director of both privatecompanies and a plc." Most recently, Anthony was the Non-Executive Chairman of Meldex Internationalplc (formerly BioProgress plc). Prior to that he served on the board ofParke-Davis UK where he was the Customer Marketing Director, until the mergerwith Pfizer when he was a senior member in the UK integration team. Anthonyleft to establish the Portland Partnership with its primary focus of consultingon Business Strategy in the Healthcare Sector advising on strategy, challengingexisting business models and developing alternative solutions.
