Announcement to the London Stock Exchange
On 24 June 2010 the following person discharging managerial responsibility ("PDMR") was granted options ("Option") under the UK Mail Group plc Long Term Incentive Plan 2009 (the "Plan") to acquire ordinary shares of £0.10 each in the Company for nil consideration as set out below.

The Options will ordinarily vest on the third anniversary of grant subject to the grantee's continued employment and the satisfaction of performance conditions assessing the Company's earnings per share growth and the Company's total shareholder return relative to a comparator group comprising the constituent companies of the FTSE All Share Index (excluding investment trusts). No consideration was paid for the grant of the Options.
