Board Changes
Travelzest plc (AIM: TVZ), (the "Company") the online travel group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher (Chris) Howell as its Non-executive Chairman with immediate effect. Nigel Jenkins steps down as Non-executive Chairman but remains on the Board as a Non-executive Director.
Chris is an experienced Chief Executive Officer and Chairman having led and supported a number of private and publicly listed companies in an executive, non-executive and advisory capacity.
Chris is currently Chairman of the Oceanico Group, a market leading leisure group with golf, beach and leisure resorts in Portugal and the USA. He is also Non-executive Director and Chairman of Sigma Voice Solutions Limited, a network telephony solutions provider based in the UK.
Commenting on appointment, Nigel Jenkins said:
"We are delighted that Chris is joining the Board as its Chairman. He has a wealth of relevant experience and will be a valuable addition to the Group for its next period of growth."
Christopher Howell added:
