Coburg Group PLC10 October 2005 COBURG GROUP PLC Establishment of EMI share option scheme and grant of options Coburg Group PLC (the"Company") is pleased to announce that it has establishedan Enterprise Management Incentive ("EMI") share option scheme for the benefitof its management and staff. Under the terms of the EMI scheme, options have been granted to acquire up to1,500,000 Coburg Group plc ordinary shares of 5p each. Employees of the Company have been granted options as follows: Number of shares Vesting date Exercise price 160,000 30 April 2006 10p 240,000 30 April 2007 10p 400,000 30 April 2008 12.5p In addition, Christopher Birkle, Group Managing Director, has been grantedoptions as follows: Number of shares Vesting date Exercise price 150,000 30 April 2006 10p 200,000 30 April 2007 10p 350,000 30 April 2008 12.5p All of the 1,500,000 options can be exercised at any time between the vestingdate and 6 Oct 2015.
