Tarsus Group PLC04 January 2007 4th January 2007 TARSUS GROUP PLC Board appointment Tarsus Group PLC ("Tarsus" or "the Group"), the international media group withinterests in exhibitions, conferences, publishing and online media, is pleasedto announce that Neil Garth Jones (aged 40) has been appointed to the Board asGroup Finance Director (having previously been Head of Finance since March2004). The appointment is effective from 4th January 2007. Neville Buch, Chairman of Tarsus, said 'Neil has played a central role in thegrowth and successful development of Tarsus over the last three years and we aredelighted that he has been appointed to the Board as Finance Director.' Prior to joining Tarsus in September 2003, Neil was European Finance Directorfor Advanstar Communications, the U.S. media group. He was admitted to theInstitute of Chartered Accountants in 1990 having qualified with PriceWaterhouse. As at the date of this announcement Mr Jones has a beneficial interest in 15,990ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company registered in the nameof T.D.
