£2m extension to MoD Consulting contract
TP Group (AIM: TPG), the providers of mission-critical solutions for a more secure world, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an extension worth c.£2.0 million to its existing 2-year c.£5.0 million customer support contract with the Ministry of Defence ("MoD"), first announced in February 2020.
This contract increases the Group's customer support to the Army HQ's multi-billion-pound Land Environment Tactical Communication and Information Services & Systems (LE TacCIS) Programme. The uplift will run alongside the existing contracted work, until early 2022.
This extension encompasses a wide range of additional technical, transformation and programme management activities that will be delivered by TP Group's Consulting value stream, building upon the existing embedded team and continuous support provided since 2016.
Phil Cartmell, Chief Executive Officer of TP Group, commented:
"We are very pleased to continue developing our contribution to this strategic programme. This award is testament to the continuity and support that we have been able to provide through recent challenging times and reflects the hard work by all involved to move this programme forward."
