The Company wishes to announce that Mr Roberto Silvotti, non-executive director of the Company and member of the Audit Committee, has informed the board of his intention to retire as a member of the Audit Committee at the Company's Board Meeting dated 27th April 2023. This is in accordance with best practice under the AIC code of governance that states that the audit committee should consist of at least three (or in the case of smaller companies two) independent non-executive directors. The Audit Committee was established on incorporation and is chaired by John Whittle, non-executive director of the Company, who has significant experience in the loan market, having worked as a chartered accountant at PWC, as finance director at a large fund administrator, and as CFO at LSE listed companies. The board wishes to thank Roberto for his significant contribution to the Audit Committee over time.
