Tangent was notified on 6th January 2011 that on 5th January 2011 Alan Smith, who is a Non-executive director of Tangent, purchased 50,000 ordinary shares in Tangent at a price of 5.375 pence per share.
 After the transaction Alan Smith held an interest in 425,000ordinary shares of 1p each in Tangent which represents approximately 0.24% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
