New Contract with NHS England

Totally PLC (AIM: TLY) announces that Totally Health Ltd ("Totally Health"), the Company's wholly owned subsidiary and the provider of a range of services to the healthcare sector, has secured a new contract with NHS England, effective from 1 June 2014. The contract is expected to be worth £84,000 in revenue to Totally over an initial 12-month period, with a renewal option for a further six months thereafter and is for the hosting and maintenance of NHS England's Shared Decision Making ("SDM") website.

The SDM website is a tool specifically designed to enable patients to reach an informed decision regarding the best course of treatment. Part of the offering is access to 36 Patient Decision Aids ("PDAs"), developed by Totally Health to help people make decisions when faced with difficult clinical choices. Under the terms of the contract, Totally will also provide update services during the initial 12-month period.

"Securing this contract is testament to the strength of our offering and our growing relationship with the NHS. It also allows us to contribute to NHS England's Shared Decision Making programme, a key strategy that helps patients make important and often difficult decisions.

Totally's services have been shown to reduce costs for Clinical Commissioning Groups by, for example, reducing unplanned admissions to hospitals and visits to Accident and Emergency Departments.

Share Decision Making and the Management of Long Term Conditions are key strategic areas for the NHS in England. The NHS in England estimates that £7 out of every £10 spent on health and social care is spent looking after people diagnosed with a Long Term Condition.
