Project Update - Crater Mountain
The Company has now received from Gold Anomaly Limited (GOA:ASX), its joint venture partner in the Crater Mountain project, the full and final assay results of Diamond Drill Hole NEV-27, including base metal results for the core interval from 500m-840m. The Company has also received the final results from Diamond Drill Hole NEV-29.
TPJ's Exploration Director Mr Bill Howell BSc Geol (Hons), FAusIMM has reviewed these results and has confirmed that the statement made by GOA and reproduced by the Company in its announcement on 30 December 2011 accurately and properly reports the mineralization values encountered in NEV-27.
He also confirms that the results reported in the GOA statement of 27 January 2012 and reproduced as part of this announcement accurately and properly reflect the mineralization encountered in NEV-29.
Mr Howell considers that the results for NEV-27 and NEV-29 continue to be encouraging in terms of potential for the discovery of a large low-grade gold deposit, but they do not provide new data that would change TPJ's view that the results are not sufficient to justify the Company contributing the amounts of money needed to fund the future drilling programme.
Mr Bill Howell, as a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and with more than 40 years of relevant experience in mineral exploration is qualified as the Competent Person under the JORC 2004 Code and the AIM Note for Mining, Oil and Gas Companies, 2009. He has reviewed the information contained in this statement and authorized its release.
