Triple Plate Junction Plc24 December 2007 For immediate release 24 December 2007 Triple Plate Junction plc ("TPJ" or the "Company") US$ 3.87 MILLION PLACEMENT WITH VIETNAM RESOURCE INVESTMENTS (HOLDINGS) LIMITED TPJ is pleased to announce that it has issued 10,500,000 shares to VIETNAMRESOURCE INVESTMENTS (HOLDINGS) LIMITED ("VRI"), a resource focused fund underthe Dragon Capital Group, the largest dedicated and diversified investmentvehicle in Vietnam since 1994. Proceeds from the placement will be used onexploration and operating costs. The placement of the shares was completed at a price of 18.5 pence andrepresents 10.0% of the expanded share capital of the Company. The Directors aredelighted to welcome Dragon Capital to the register of the Company, an investorthat has a demonstrated track record of strong support for the mineral resourcessector. Application has been made to the AIM for the shares to be admitted totrading on Wednesday, 2 January. The total issued share capital followingAdmission of the shares will be 104,914,795 ordinary shares of 1 penny each.
