AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting this afternoon, Tony Shearer, the Chairman, will say:

"Over the last 6 months Chris Goss and I have been looking at a number of ways of re-invigorating the Company. In doing this we have been conscious that any of the likely exploration opportunities might dilute existing shareholders either to acquire the opportunity and/or to raise the funds needed for the exploration work.

We have also looked at a number of new exploration related businesses for the Company. Indeed only a couple of weeks ago we came very close to delivering on one of these. Sadly it failed a key part of our due diligence and so we had to withdraw at the very last moment.

However we are still looking at a number of other ventures that seem to have real potential. In doing so, we remain very focused on conserving the Company's cash resources.

We will keep shareholders updated when there is something that we are in a position to announce."
