CAS is pleased to announce that Jason Kingsley Drummond has been appointed to the board of CAS ("Board") as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.
Β
At the age of 18, Jason DrummondΒ established IDL Communications Limited a distributor of mobile phones and faxΒ machines. Subsequent to this Mr. Drummond spent approximately three yearsΒ outside ofΒ the UK, establishing and running distribution and new mediaΒ companies in emerging markets such as Russia and Africa. Mr. Drummond returnedΒ to the United Kingdom in 1995, prior to establishing VirtualΒ Internet (UK) LtdΒ in 1996, an online intellectual property protection and web hosting servicesΒ company. Virtual Internet plc ("VI") was admitted to AIM in January 1999 and in 2000Β combined a Β£25 millionΒ fundraising with a move to the Official List. In November 2000 Mr Drummond founded RegistryPro, a joint venture between VI and Register.com which created theΒ first-ever exclusiveΒ professional domain extension on the Internet. Inc. VI wasΒ acquired by Register.com Inc. (Nasdaq:RCOM) in 2002. In September 1999, Mr.Β Drummond co-founded Xworks Limited, an e-business incubator, whichΒ was admitted to trading onΒ AIM in April 2001. In August 2002, Xworks changed its name toΒ Gaming Corporation plc to reflect its focusΒ on its principal business "casino.co.uk". In March 2005,Β Gaming Corporation plc raisedΒ Β£10 million inΒ an institutional placing and in May 2005, acquired Gambling.com for US$20Β million. Between September 2005 and October 2006, Mr. Drummond was a director of Metacharge Limited an InternetΒ payment service provider that was sold to PayPoint plc for Β£8.4m in OctoberΒ 2006. In December 2005, Mr. Drummond, cofounded Shellworks Ltd,Β which was admitted to trading on AIM asΒ Nettworx plc having raised Β£10 million. In 2006 Mr. Drummond Co-founded FairFX plc, a UK independentΒ operator of multi-currency prepaid debit cards with current turnover in excess of Β£200 million and which has recently joined forces with Easyjet to launch a Euro VISA prepaid card to its customers, where he remains a director.

Jason Drummond does not currently hold any shares in the issued share capital of CAS.

On the appointment of Jason Drummond to the Board, Oliver Fattal will no longer be the Interim Chairman and will revert to his position as Chief Executive Officer.

Under paragraph 9.6.13R of the listing rules the following information is disclosed;

Β·; Jason Drummond has been a director of the following publically quoted companies in the past 5 years; Coms Plc; Nettworx Plc; and Media Corporation Plc;
Β·; Jason Drummond was a director of Parable Telecommunications Group plc and Parable Telecommunications Limited both of which were placed into creditors' voluntary liquidation on 16November 2001 and dissolved respectively on 23 September 2003 and 24 April 2005; andΒ
Β·; within 12 months of his resignation, Jason Drummond was on the Board of Nettworx Plc which was placed into a Voluntary Members Liquidation (and subsequently dissolved on 13 September 2011) in order to facilitate the return of funds to shareholders. Jason Drummond has also been a director of Names Net Limited, RCom (Direct) Limited and RCom (UK) Limited, on the box.com Limited, Chemserve Group Limited and Bridge Brake Limited all of which have been dissolved.
