Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, A.S.03 October 2006 Press release O2 launches revolutionary broadband service offering wireless and ADSL connectivity Prague, October 3, 2006 Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, the first integrated telecommunications serviceprovider on the Czech market, has prepared a service that offers customers theuse of a fixed as well as a mobile connection in the framework of one monthlyfee on one invoice. The service is called O2 Internet Komplet, which offersTelefonica O2 customers maximum freedom in terms of connecting to the Internetthroughout the Czech Republic. With the O2 Internet Komplet service, subscribers can use both the O2 InternetExpres broadband fixed-line (ADSL) service and the O2 Internet Mobil service fora mobile Internet connection (CDMA) in the framework of one monthly fee. Themobile connection offers speeds of up to 512 kbp/s and subscribers get 20 hoursof connectivity per month free of charge. After the free mobile connection hourshave been used up, the customer can simply order an extended block ofconnectivity online. The new service has even more benefits. These includesubsidized modems for both types of connection, and service activation for onlyone koruna. Customers always use the same login and user password for Internetaccess. With this account, customers can also gain access to the O2 WiFi HotSpot network, the largest WiFi Hot Spot network in the Czech Republic. Inaddition to all of this, until the end of October customers can take advantageof the special BONUS CZK 2,000 offer if they also subscribe to O2 mobiletariffs. "In this day and age, we are encountering more and more customers who do notwant to be limited by any technical parameters of telecommunications services.Internet Komplet delivers high-speed broadband connection at home or work aswell as a high speed mobile broadband connection on the road," says AndreiTorriani, Chief Marketing Officer of Telefonica O2, "O2 Internet Komplet issymbolic of the convergence of fixed and mobile services and the increasingbenefits we can deliver to our customers." The O2 Internet komplet service is available in two variants, either without afixed period of commitment or a 12-month commitment. If the customer decides tosign a contract, they will receive an ADSL modem for CZK 1 and a discount ofnearly CZK 3,000 off a CDMA modem. There are various tariffs to choose from,differing not only in price but also in connection speed and data transfervolume.
