Telit launches IoT Factory Solutions to increase focus on Industrial Internet of Things

London, February 8, 2016 - Telit Communications PLC (AIM: TCM, 'the Group', 'Telit'), a global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), has formed a new business unit, IoT Factory Solutions, as part of its strategy to expand its range of IoT Services and increase its recurring revenue opportunities.

The new business unit is part of the Group's Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities in Telit's IoT Services division. This division also encompasses the Group's connectivity and platform capabilities.

IoT Factory Solutions is well positioned to take advantage of the market opportunities in the Industrial IoT, otherwise referred to as Industrie 4.0. IoT Factory Solutions allows customers to take advantage of the Industrial IoT opportunity with multiple paths to deployment, centered on the Group's proven IoT platform for factory automation. 

IoT Factory Solutions includes the deviceWISE for Factory and secureWISE for the semiconductor industry, already deployed internationally by leading industrial customers and manufacturers.
